BADIG is proud to announce that our chairperson, Lana Kurasidze, was selected as a Ballymun Ambassador for Dublin City Council’s “A Thriving City For All” festival.
The official launch event took place at the Mansion House in Dublin, where ambassador videos and stories were presented as part of the city-wide campaign promoting inclusion, diversity, accessibility and community participation.
Lana was recognised for her advocacy work, representation of disability groups across Dublin, and her ongoing contribution to the Ballymun community through BADIG.
As chairperson of BADIG, Lana continues to advocate for disability inclusion, visibility, accessibility and equal participation for people with disabilities in community life.
The campaign also featured Lana’s ambassador video and story published by Dublin City Council across their social media platforms.
We would like to thank Dublin City Council and everyone involved in the “A Thriving City For All” festival for supporting inclusive communities and amplifying the voices of people with disabilities.
