Join BADIG at the National Disability Show 2026 (Free Event)

We’re delighted to be taking part in the National Disability Show this Thursday, 7 May, where BADIG will be proudly representing the Ballymun community.

Our aim is to highlight positive work happening locally and to share the voices and experiences of people with disabilities from our community on a wider platform.

As part of this, we’re excited to showcase the LifeGlider – a life-changing mobility walking device that is currently not available in Ireland or across Europe.

BADIG’s Chairperson is one of the very few LifeGlider users in Europe, having independently brought the device to Ireland. She will be sharing her personal experience of using the device and how it has impacted her mobility, independence, and daily life.

We have also invited the LifeGlider team to join us and present their work.

For us, this is about bringing new ideas, real experiences, and practical solutions into conversations around accessibility and inclusion.
